Training Program for Afghan Experts

Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) organized a training program for Afghan National Standards Authority (ANSA) experts.

The training program has been arranged in cooperation with Turkish Standards Institution (TSE) and Turkish Accreditation Agency (TÜRKAK).

TİKA had been undertaking projects in order to develop education, health, capacity improvement and economic infrastructure in Afghanistan and Turkey prioritized the reconstruction of this war-torn society, provision of basic services, creation of a new system respectful of basic liberties, as well as reinstitution of domestic order. Within this context TİKA supports Afghan administrative and official institutions to develop their structure and human capacity.

TİKA cooperates with ANSA to develop its organizational body in line with international standards. 6 Afghan experts received training on TS EN ISO 9001 – Quality Management System, TS EN ISO 14001 – Environment Management System, TS EN ISO 22000 – Food Safety Management System.

Following their examination of Turkish accreditation structures Afghan experts initiated a plan for modeling of TÜRKAK in Afghanistan.
