TİKA's Support to Ksaver Nursing Home in Croatia

Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) provided equipment support for the Ksaver Nursing Home in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia.

An industrial washing machine, a patient lift and hospital beds were procured for the Ksaver-Zagreb Nursing Home, which was built in 1997 and now provides services for 260 people.

Snjezana Bubenik, Director of the Ksaver-Zagreb Nursing Home, said: "This donation is the largest single donation ever made to any nursing home in Zagreb." In her statement during the handover ceremony, Bubenik underlined that this support would facilitate the operations of the institution and expressed her gratitude towards Turkey and the Turkish people. She also added that this donation, which would be used in the Ksaver Nursing Home for many years, would be a great reminder of the important friendship between Turkey and Croatia.
