TİKA Provide Food Aid to Refugees in Philippines

In the Philippines, distribution of 600 food packages and iftar meals for 800 people was held by Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA)

Through TİKA, Turkey will continue to be on the side of Muslim Filipinos at all times. In the Muslim neighbourhood of Maharlika, which is located in the capital city of Manila, 500 people were gathered for the iftar dinner program. The said program which was held in the largest mosque in Manila, Blue mosque, and was attended by the Turkish Ambassador in Manila, Artemiz Sümer, TIKA Manila Coordinator Mustafa Kerimoglu and other Turkish representatives.

Within the scope of Ramadan activities carried out by the Manila Program Coordination Office in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region, food packages were distributed to 600 people in the town of Pamalian, province of Maguindanao, where internally displaced people due to conflicts live. In addition, an iftar program was also organized for 300 people in Tukananes district of Cotabato City.
