TİKA Did Not Leave South Sudanese Orphans Alone on July 15th

Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) provided 300 children living in an orphanage in South Sudan with clothes and shoes on July 15th to commemorate the martyries with respect and gratitude within the scope of the anniversary of the treacherous coup attempt.

July 15th martyries, who lost their lives at the treacherous coup attempt on July 15, 2016, were commemorated through prayers in the Democracy and National Unity Day Ceremony held in South Sudan. The ceremony held at the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Juba was attended by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Sudan, representatives of the diplomatic and international community and members of the Turkish Police assigned to UNPOL/UNMISS. The ceremony started with a one-minute stand in silence and National Anthem and continued with the speech of Erdem Mutaf, the Ambassador of Türkiye in Juba. At the end of the ceremony, TİKA did not leave the orphans alone and provided 300 children accommodated and trained at Sheikh Dafallah Abbas Foundation’s Orphanage with clothes and shoes.
