TİKA Cooperates with Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia

Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) and Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs signed a letter of intent for development cooperation.

TİKA and Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs signed a letter of intent for development cooperation in Ankara where Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs invited Indonesian Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi.  

The letter of intent signed by the Vice President of TİKA, Rahman Nurdun, and the Indonesian Ambassador to Ankara, Lalu Muhamad Iqbal, in the presence of the two ministers aimes for cooperation between TİKA and Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in contributing to the sustainable social and economic development of third countries, and the further improvement of friendly relations through development cooperation activities.

While Minister Çavuşoğlu emphasized that the signed document would pave the way for cooperation between TİKA and Indonesia in giving development support to third countries, Retno Marsudi expressed her satisfaction with the signed document.

In this context, TİKA and Indonesia will contribute to global efforts to achieve sustainable development goals in healthcare, education, energy, gender equality, agriculture and food security, share know-how and implement development cooperation programs.
