21 June 2021TİKA and AA Provide Basic and Advanced New Generation Journalism Training
Conducted by Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) and Anadolu Agency News Academy, the “Online New Generation Journalism Basic and Advanced Training Program” has been completed successfully.
In addition to enabling Turkey to share its successful practices and experience in many fields with friendly nations through various projects and programs, TİKA has been spreading its own knowledge and expertise at the international level in cooperation with various institutions since 2017, as part of the training program developed by the Training Projects Coordination Unit.
More than 800 press members have been trained through many successful training courses organized in cooperation with AA News Academy as part of the Journalism Training Program.
80 press members from 22 countries (Afghanistan, Albania, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Algeria, Palestine, Gambia, Croatia, Iraq, Cameroon, Montenegro, Kyrgyzstan, North Macedonia, Mongolia, Moldova, Namibia, Serbia, Sudan, Ukraine, Jordan, Tajikistan, and Tunisia) participated in the Online New Generation Journalism Basic Training, which was held in English with simultaneous interpreting into Arabic. 30 successful participants were qualified for the advanced level, the next stage of the training.
65 press members from 17 countries (Afghanistan, Albania, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Gambia, Croatia, Iraq, Cameroon, Montenegro, Kyrgyzstan, North Macedonia, Namibia, Serbia, Sudan, Jordan, Tunisia, and Georgia) participated in and successfully completed the Online New Generation Journalism Advanced Training.
More than 20 participants who gave presentations on New Generation Journalism were awarded certificates of achievement on the last day of the training.
TİKA and AA will also organize an Online New Generation Basic Training Course from June 16 to 18 and an Online New Generation Advanced Training Course from June 21 to 24 for Uzbekistan.
