Support from TİKA to the 7th International TURKCESS Education and Social Sciences Congress

Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) provided support to the 7th Congress of Education and Social Sciences.

Between September 1-3 2021, the opening of the interdisciplinary congress titled "7^th International TURKCESS Education and Social Sciences Congress" was held in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. Many scientists from Central Asian and Balkan countries attended this year's congress, whose theme was “social change and innovation”.

The congress was hosted by Cyprus University of Health and Social Sciences. TRNC President Ersin Tatar, Rector of Yildiz Technical University Rector Prof. Dr. Tamer Yılmaz, Rector of Cyprus University of Health and Social Sciences Prof. Dr. İbrahim Levent Taner, President of Turkcess Congress Prof. Dr. M. Engin Deniz, TİKA’s Nicosia Program Coordinator Havva Pınar Özcan Küçükçavuş and many scientists attended the opening of the congress.

"Turkish World Rauf Raif Denktaş Award" was given to TRNC President Ersin TATAR by the Congress Organizing Committee. Many academics who have contributed a lot to the academy with their scientific work have been awarded by the Congress Organizing Committee.

TİKA also provided support to the International TURKCESS Education and Social Sciences Congresses held in Baku and Skopje.
