President of TİKA, Kayalar, Came Together With Turkmens in Turkmen Brotherhood Club

Serkan Kayalar, President of Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), came together with Turkmens at the Turkmen Brotherhood Club in Baghdad, the capital city of Iraq.

Kayalar opened the sewing workshop prepared by TİKA at the Turkmen Brotherhood Club.

In his speech, the President of the Turkmen Brotherhood Club, Faruk Abdullah Abdurrahman, stated that the guild is a home for all the Turkmens and that they have served their cause for years despite the oppression of Saddam Hussein’s regime and they still continue to do so.

President of Iraqi Turkmen Front (ITF), Hasan Turan, stated that ITF supports Turkmens’ first and legitimate political cause and expressed that TİKA’s contribution to the Turkmen Brotherhood Club makes him glad.

Turan stated that after its arson, the legacy of the Ottoman Empire Kirkuk Kayseri Bazaar was repaired upon the instruction of the President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. He also emphasized that they are sure that TİKA will support other projects about Turkmens.

President of TİKA, Serkan Kayalar, stated that he is happy to come together with Turkmens in the Turkmen Brotherhood Club, which blossomed 63 years ago as a club of ideas. He also emphasized that he visited the Mausoleum of Abdul-Qadir Gilani and Imam-ı Azam Abu Hanifa Mausoleum and their mosques, all of which were restored upon the instruction of President Erdoğan.

Kayalar emphasized that they have carried out projects in the field of development cooperation all around Iraq as TİKA and stated: “We have carried out more than 500 projects in Iraq. Our cooperation with Turkmen Brotherhood Club continues as well. The Brotherhood Club will continue to serve Turkmens, a fundamental element of these lands. We will continue to support our Turkmen brothers as TİKA.”

President of Turkmen Brotherhood Club Abdurrahman presented a plaque to the President of TİKA, Kayalar. President of TİKA presented a plaque to Abdurrahman as well.

Turkmen vocal artists performed some songs after this.

Kayalar had previously met the President of the Iraqi Turkmen Front (ITF), Hasan Turan and the President of the Iraq Sunni Association, Mişan Muheyddin el-Hazraci, in Baghdad.
