26 August 2022Our Volunteer Ambassadors Examined TİKA’s Projects in Moldova on Site
The Turkish students who visited Moldova under the Experience Sharing Program 2022 (ESP 2022), organized by Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), examined TİKA’s projects on site.
The volunteer students from different universities in Türkiye visited Moldova under the ESP 2022, supported by TİKA, and examined TİKA’s projects on site. TİKA’s volunteers first visited TİKA’s Program Coordination Office in Chișinău and received information from Coordinator Selda Özdenoğlu about the projects implemented in Moldova.
The volunteer students later visited Turkish Airlines Chișinău Office and the Comrat State University. Then, they had the chance to examine several projects implemented by TİKA in Comrat, the capital of the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia, including Nasreddin Hodja Preschool, Ataturk Library, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Nursing Home, and Prof. Dr. Aziz Sancar Hospital.
Later in the program, our volunteer students from the departments of architecture and civil engineering took part in the construction work in the construction site of the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Education Complex of Comrat, which will be completed in 2023 and have a capacity of 456 students.
The volunteers worked up a sweat in a friendly match
In the last event held as part of the program, the Turkish students and the staff of TİKA and Comrat Municipality had a friendly match at Comrat Stadium Mumzhiev, which has a capacity of 5,000 and was renovated upon the instructions of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to strengthen the friendly relations between Türkiye and Moldova. Great goals were scored in the match, in which Serghei Anastasov, Mayor of Comrat, played for TİKA.
The ESP 2022, coordinated by TİKA, is supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Türkiye, the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Türkiye, Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities, Turkish Airlines, Anadolu Agency, and Turkish Radio and Television Corporation.
