Our Volunteer Ambassadors Are in Bosnia and Herzegovina

12 volunteer students from different universities in Türkiye visited Bosnia and Herzegovina under the Experience Sharing Program 2022 (ESP 2022), organized by Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), and took part in the activities in the country.

12 female students had the chance to closely examine Türkiye’s activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, thanks to the ESP 2022, supported by TİKA. Our volunteer ambassadors took part in several activities throughout the program. First, they visited Anadolu Agency’s (AA) office in Sarajevo and learned about AA’s activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Then, the students visited the offices of Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT) and Yunus Emre Institute.

Later, our young volunteers carried out several activities with students with special needs at the State Institute of Mjedenica for Special Education and Upbringing, which was renovated by TİKA. In the last event of the day, they visited the Srebrenica Memorial Gallery, renovated and equipped by TİKA. The students will gain hands-on experience by taking part in TİKA’s education and agriculture projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina for a week.

The “Experience Sharing Program 2022,” coordinated by TİKA, is supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Türkiye, the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Türkiye, Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities, Turkish Airlines, AA, TRT, and Türkiye Youth Foundation.
