Neurology Center Of Doboj Hospital Is Renovated In Bosnia And Herzegovina

Modernized with Turkish International Cooperation and Development Agency’s repair and hardware support, Neurology Center of Doboj Hospital -second biggest hospital in Serbian Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina- is opened to service with a ceremony

Neurology Center of Doboj Hospital which has served 250 thousand people since 1952 and is the second biggest hospital in Serbian Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina -one of the two constituent entities of Bosnia and Herzegovina- is provided modern service amenities with TIKA’s repair and hardware support. With this project covering medicinal equipment supply as well as repair, the Neurology Center which has a capacity of 35 beds is able to provide healthcare for patients under much better conditions.

The project’s opening ceremony was held with the participation of Vice President of the Republic of Srpska Enes Sulkanoviç, TIKA Deputy Chairman Mehmet Süreyya Er, TICA officials, Vice President of the Municipality of Doboj Jasna Lukic, Doboj Kanton Hospital General Director Vlado Durdeviç and hospital employees.

During his speech at the opening, TIKA Deputy Chairman Er stated that TIKA which has been active since 1995 is developing projects in every corner of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Underlining that one of the finest examples of this is the project executed in Doboj Hospital, TIKA Deputy Chairman Er further commented that TIKA continues to provide service in Bosnia and Herzegovina regardless of religious or ethnic discrimination.

Vice President of the Republic of Srpska Enes Sulkanoviç stated that they are grateful to TIKA for the support they have provided. Vice President of the Republic of Srpska Sulkanoviç underlined that TIKA’s projects have contributed to strengthening peace and building cooperation among all people living in the country and expressed his satisfaction.

Doboj Kanton Hospital General Director Vlado Durdeviç also offered his thanks to TIKA for the operations they have executed.
