Turkish International Cooperation and Development Agency has provided technical equipment support for Mahad Inabah Foundation in Mombasa located in coastal state of Kenya
Executing projects in Kenya on education, especially for providing education to young girls, TIKA has given technical equipment support for Mahad Inabah Foundation in Mombasa located in coastal state of Kenya.
Mahad Inabah Foundation was founded in 1994 by a group of volunteering women, and started educational works with 20 students. Mahad Inabah Foundation offers education on kindergarten, primary school and junior high levels for 950 students from surrounding cities in a 4-storey building with classrooms, library, computer labs and meeting hall. Additionally Mahad Inabah Foundation organizes Islamic history, Arabic, maternal and child health, sewing, embroidery and computer courses for women in need.
TIKA has donated tables, desks, chairs, bookshelves, sewing machine, computers and projection equipment to the Mahad Inabah Foundation to improve existing educational conditions and provide better educational amenities for female students. The technical equipment support provided for Mahad Inabah Foundation which has growing numbers of students, is expected to contribute to developing the educational cooperation between Turkey and Kenya.
