Erenler Sofrası Set for Needy Families in Afghanistan

Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) provided food aid for 600 needy families in the Herat and Nimruz provinces of Afghanistan.

TİKA's Afghanistan Herat Coordination Office provided food aid for 600 needy families in the Herat and Nimruz provinces as part of the Ramadan activities. In addition, iftar meals were provided for 1000 people throughout Ramadan in many different events. During these iftar meals, which were organized in the office building and the orphanages in the Herat and Nimruz provinces for the community, students, orphans, teachers and press members, it was underlined that our country has been reaching out a helping hand for needy people all around the world during Ramadan and the global messages of the Turkish intellectuals Yunus Emre, Haji Bektash Veli and Ahi Evran, which stood the test of time, were shared. Throughout Ramadan, clothes and various gifts were also given to 400 kids living in the orphanages in the Herat and Nimruz provinces.
