Vocational Courses Started in Andkhoy Afghanistan

Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) started vocational courses on needlecraft, hairdressing, carpet weaving and Turkish language in Faryab Province-Andkhoy, northern part of Afghanistan. TİKA introduced a vocational training program for people whose income basically relies on carpet weaving and traditional farming.

General Directorate of Physical Education and Sports of Afghanistan H. Humayun Hayri, TİKA Coordinator in Mazar-i-Sharif Zeki Bulduk, Andkhoy District Governor Sultan Muhammed Sancar, course instructors and trainees attended the inauguration ceremony.

TİKA Coordinator Bulduk expressed his regrets for the ongoing clashes in Kunduz and Faryab provinces and stated that Turkish cooperation will not cease to help war weary people of the region.

Bulduk also appreciated residents of Faryab and Andkhoy for their demonstrations in support of Turkish Government against Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO) after July 15th failed coup attempt.

General Directorate of Physical Education and Sports Hayri conveyed his thanks to Turkish people and TİKA for their enormous fraternal efforts for development of Afghanistan.

Courses started with a prayer after inauguration ceremony.
