Turkish Cuisine Courses Were Held in Hungary with TİKA’s Support

Turkish cuisine courses were held in Hungary with the support of Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) and the participation of instructors from Mengen Culinary Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School in Bolu and Szeged SZC Janos Toth Morahalom Vocational School of Higher Education.

As part of the program, which also promoted Turkish cuisine, instructors from Mengen Culinary School visited Hungary and taught Hungarian instructors and students how to cook traditional Turkish dishes for a week.

Nihal Kemer, Elif Gökdemir, Gökhan Gökdemir, and Ferdi Karagöz, instructors/chefs from Mengen, successfully completed to give the “Turkish cuisine” courses by teaching how to cook Bolu specialties, such as water borek, Noah’s pudding, Sultan’s delight, grape leaf rolls, Mengen cheese, and noodles with walnuts and keş cheese. Certificates were presented to Turkish and Hungarian instructors at the end of the program.

The Director and instructors of SZC Janos Toth Morahalom Vocational School of Higher Education, which hosted the training and has 400 students, thanked TİKA, stating that they were extremely happy to be introduced to Turkish dishes.
