Turkey Is Sharing Its Experience in Financial Auditing with Kyrgyzstan

Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) held the 4-day training program “Risk Management and Documentation in Financial Auditing” for the auditors of the Chamber of Accounts of Kyrgyzstan in Ankara from December 20 to 23, 2021 in cooperation with the Court of Accounts of Turkey.

The training, which was held for the auditors of the Chamber of Accounts of Kyrgyzstan as part of TİKA’s Court of Accounts Training Program (SAYEP), included presentations on risk management in financial auditing, identification of risks, responsibilities of auditors, and collection and documentation of audit evidence, which were followed by an audit exercise.

In his speech at the opening session of the program, in which Turkey shared its knowledge of and experience in this field, Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Kyrgyzstan’s Ambassador to Turkey, stated that the program was a great opportunity for the Kyrgyz delegation to benefit from Turkey’s experience in financial auditing.

Uğur Tanyeli, Head of the Department of Foreign Relations and Partnerships at TİKA, also delivered a speech at the opening session and said he was pleased with the improvement of the relations between Turkey and Kyrgyzstan thanks to the projects implemented by TİKA in many fields in Kyrgyzstan.

Having implemented many projects in various fields in Kyrgyzstan, TİKA especially supports the strengthening of the financial and public control mechanism of Kyrgyzstan and the improvement of the relations between Turkey and Kyrgyzstan in this field. In this context, it is aimed to continue to organize various training programs and implement many other projects for the auditors of the Chamber of Accounts of Kyrgyzstan.
