Turkey Donates Turkish Books to Turkic Libraries

Ten thousand books were shipped to Kosovo in the framework of the "3rd Donation to Turkic Country Libraries and Books is the Strongest Bridge Conference". 

The program developed through the contributions of Turkey Professional Organization of Owners of Intellectual and Artistic Works (ILESAM), Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) allowed the distribution of books to Kosovan schools and universities whose language of education were Turkish.

The books were distributed across Kosovo to schools who taught in Turkish, including primary schools, high schools, the University of Prizren and the University of Pristina.

Turkish Consul General Serdar Özaydın, Head of Turkish Delegation to Kosovo Colonel Serkan Ceylan, Board Chairman of ILESAM Mehmet Nuri Parmaksız, Author Sinan Yağmur, TİKA’s Pristina Program Coordinator Cihan Dinçer, Director of Yunus Emre Institute Mehmet Ülker and teachers attended the symbolic book delivery ceremony held at the Prizren Yunus Emre Institute.
