Turkey and Bosnia and Herzegovina Celebrated Their Friendship

With the support of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), The Republic of Turkey Directorate of Communications and Turkish Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK), the Bosnia-Turkey Friendship Association organized an event for "10th Turkey-Bosnia and Herzegovina Friendship Days", which was held in Mostar on July 30 and 31, 2021.

Thousands of people attended the event, which took place on the historical Mostar Bridge. During the event, Turkish singers Mustafa Ceceli and Orhan Çakmak, as well as the choir and mehter team performed.

Sherbet, baklava, and Turkish delight were served to the visitors at the booths opened to promote Turkish culture and traditions.

Participating in the event, RTÜK President Ebubekir Şahin, Mamak Mayor Murat Köse, Turkey's Consul General in Mostar Yaşar Ergün and Hersek-Neretva Canton Education, Science, Culture and Sports Minister Rasid Hadzovic touched upon the close relations between these two countries.

At the end of the event, which is held in different cities every year, the traditional Turkish archery was introduced to Bosnians.
