TİKA's Support For The Education Of Ministry Of Modernization Of Public Services And Management Of Mauritania Directors

Vocational training was given to a delegation of 18 consisting of experts and medium level administrators of Ministry of Modernization of Public Services and Management of Mauritania in Labor and Social Security Training and Research Centre in Ankara with the cooperation of Turkish International Cooperation and Development Agency and Ministry of Labor and Social Security.

A vocational training program was conducted for a delegation of 18 consisting of experts and medium level administrators of Ministry of Modernization of Public Services and Management of Mauritania on June 3 -7, 2013 in Turkey with the cooperation of TIKA and Ministry of Labor and Social Security in order to develop relations between Turkey and Islamic Republic of Mauritania.

The coordination of the aforementioned program was provided by TIKA whereas the content of the educational program was prepared by Ministry of Labor and Social Security. The education was given by high level labor inspectors of Ministry of Labor and Social Security Labor Inspection Board.

In scope of the educational program, presentations on labor inspection practices in Turkey, Turkish labor and social security legislation, social security reform, occupational health and safety, combating unregistered employment, combating child labor, protection of women workers, business and employment statistics were given to Mauritanian participants by the instructors.

With the aforementioned vocational training program positive contributions were made for promoting the structures and functioning of public institutions and organizations of Turkey that are exemplary for least developed countries in all areas.
