TİKA Supports the Infrastructure of Governmental Institutions in Ukraine

Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) installed an access control system and carried out various renovation works in the building of the Ministry for Veteran Affairs of Ukraine.

The main function of the Ministry for Veteran Affairs of Ukraine is to create the necessary conditions for veterans to become the driving force of the country after the war. In this context, TİKA renovated two rooms and the corridor where administrative rooms are located, in order to improve the service quality of the Ministry.

The Agency also installed a card access and turnstile system in the Ministry building to improve the security of the Ministry staff, veterans who use the Ministry’s services, and their families.

Card access and turnstile systems both ensure authorized entry and access security and measure the number and intensity of entry.

The delivery ceremony held for the project was attended by Igor Yaremenko, Deputy Minister for Veteran Affairs of Ukraine; Cüneyt Esmer, TİKA’s Program Coordinator in Ukraine; and the Ministry staff. In his speech at the ceremony, Yaremenko thanked TİKA, stating that he hoped they would collaborate on other projects next year.
