TİKA Supports Production in Syria

An air freshener and Turkish cologne production workshop was built in Akhtarin as part of the project “Workshops’ Street,” supported by Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA).

The first products were manufactured in the Turkish cologne and air freshener production workshop built as part of TİKA’s project “Workshops’ Street.” A Turkish cologne and air freshener production workshop was built in order to help young people enter a profession and strengthen the local economy in Akhtarin and nearby regions, where Operation Euphrates Shield was conducted. 4 different types of Turkish cologne will be produced in the workshop.

“Vocational training opportunities for young people are increasing”

In his speech at the opening ceremony held for the Turkish cologne and air freshener production workshop, Mohammad al-Hassan, Head of the Education Office in the Local Council of Akhtarin, thanked Türkiye for their support. Mohammad al-Hassan said, “We would like to thank them for being there for us. Thanks to such projects, vocational training opportunities for young people are increasing. We sincerely hope that TİKA will continue its projects.”
