TİKA Supports Preschool Education in Mongolia

Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) equipped the Altantsögts District Kindergarten, where children between the ages of 2 and 5 living in the rural areas of Bayan-Ölgii Province receive preschool education, and provided the kindergarten with the materials and equipment it needed.

The kindergarten, which was established in 1962 and has a capacity of 125 children, had not been able to renew its materials and equipment for 30 years. As part of the project it implemented, TİKA contributed to the sustainability of the activities of the kindergarten, providing educational materials and equipment meeting international standards.

At the delivery ceremony of the materials and equipment, Aybek Şöndey, District Governor of Altantsögts, and the kindergarten staff thanked the Turkish people and TİKA.
