The promotion booth established by Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) within the scope of the Kenyatta University Biennial Research and Innovation Conference, one of the largest and most respected universities in Kenya, attracted intensive attention from academicians and students.
Within the scope of the international biennial organized on October 22-25, 2019 with the subtitle of Sustainable Development Goals and Kenya's Big Four Agenda, an exhibition was held with many conferences and workshops.
At TİKA promotion booth which attracted a great deal of attention from academicians, students, and NGO representatives, promotional films were shown about TİKA’s development assistance in Kenya and all over the world, and information was given to visitors about scholarships in Turkey and FETO terrorist organization along with TİKA activities.
Kenya's Big Four Agenda
In line with the program announced by President Kenyatta, the Big Four Agenda of Kenya includes the prioritization of food security, improving accessible and quality health services, increasing the number of council housing, and strengthening the manufacturing industry within the scope of the fight against unemployment until 2030. The works of the public and academic institutions are supported by the Government of Kenya.
TİKA has been supporting Kenya's Big Four Agenda with more than one hundred projects implemented in Nairobi since 2012. TİKA's activities in Kenya focus on health, education, agriculture, water hygiene, and capacity building programs.
