TİKA Supports Bayrak Radio and Television Corporation in the TRNC

Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) provided a 4K LED display to Bayrak Radio and Television Corporation to be used in the main studio.

As part of the project, the standard resolution video display used in the main studio, where BRT broadcasts live, was replaced by a giant 4K LED display, improving the image quality.

After the installation of the modern LED display, Havva Pınar Özcan Küçükçavuş, TİKA’s Nicosia Program Coordinator, and Meryem Özkurt, Director of Bayrak Radio and Television Corporation, visited the studio.

Küçükçavuş noted that several projects were implemented in cooperation with BRT before TİKA Office was opened in the TRNC, that similar projects were implemented after TİKA Office was opened, and that various pieces of equipment were provided to BRT. Küçükçavuş added that BRT’s employees attended the media training programs conducted by TİKA in cooperation with Anadolu Agency and the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation. She said she was pleased with their cooperation with BRT, the only state broadcaster in the country.
