Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) provided staples and cleaning supplies to 500 flood-affected families in the districts of Dashti Qala and Khwaja Ghar in Takhar Province, located in northeastern Afghanistan.

In Afghanistan, where the fierce fight against the coronavirus continues, TİKA distributed food and cleaning supplies to 500 families in need who were affected by the flood that occurred a few days ago in the districts of Takhar Province, located in the northeast of the country.

As part of the food aid, 500 food parcels containing flour, rice, sugar, sunflower oil, tea, table salt, tomato paste, cranberry beans, and soap were delivered to flood-affected families in need in cooperation with the Governorship of Takhar.

Supporting Afghanistan’s fight against the coronavirus, TİKA has recently produced and delivered 100,000 masks to be distributed to healthcare institutions in the northern provinces.
