TİKA Provides Vocational Training for the Young Senegalese

Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) organized a vocational training program in the fields of tourism and hotel management for the employment of young people in the Ngor city of Senegal.

In cooperation with Ngor Municipality within Dakar, the capital of Senegal, and ENFHT – National School of Tourism and Hotel Management Training under the Ministry of Tourism of Senegal, a series of vocational training programs covering the subjects of cookery, pastry, hotel management, and restaurant service for the young people in Ngor was held. Mayor of Ngor, Magueye Ndiaye presented certificates to those who had successfully completed the program in which 30 trainees had participated.

As a result of the provided training, it is expected to find a solution to the increasing tourism potential of Ngor accompanied by the employment problem.
