TİKA Provides 12 Kindergartens in Vietnam with Water Filtration Systems

Through a collaboration between the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) and Vietnam Sustainable Development Center (SUSDEC), 12 kindergartens in Vietnam’s Ninh Thuan, Dak Nong and Nghe An provinces were equipped with water filtration systems.

TİKA continues to implement new projects in various places it operates in. In this context, TİKA, which carries out important projects especially on water and sanitation, collaborated with Vietnam Sustainable Development Center (SUSDEC) to install water filtration systems to 12 kindergartens in Vietnam’s Ninh Thuan, Dak Nong and Nghe An provinces.

Thanks to the project that was implemented through the cooperation of TİKA and SUSDEC, the students of kindergartens in mountainous and far off locations, gained access to clean drinking water, which they lacked before. The project was implemented in 12 kindergartens in Vietnam’s Ninh Thuan, Dak Nong and Nghe An provinces; and the installation of the water filtration systems in the beneficiary schools were completed.

With the project, over 2,000 children of kindergarten age gained access to healthy drinking water. The administrators of the beneficiary schools cited that the contribution was extremely important as it targeted the most fragile layer of the society, namely the young children of kindergarten age, and that they were very thankful to Turkey for this support. Pointing out the importance of solving children’s drinking water problem in terms of its significance for the future of the country, the administrators expressed their gratitude on behalf of their country.
