TİKA Presents Holiday Gifts to Children in Kazakhstan

Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) distributed gifts to nearly 60 children from Kazakhstan on National Sovereignty and Children's Day, which is celebrated on April 23.

The Agency met with Turkish and Kazakh children at the ceremony held at the Turkish Embassy in Nur-Sultan on National Sovereignty and Children's Day, which is celebrated on April 23. TİKA presented holiday gifts to children from Nurlu Yürek Special Care Center.

The ceremony was attended by Ufuk Ekici, the Republic of Türkiye’s Ambassador to Nur-Sultan; Agalar Atamoglanov, Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Nur-Sultan; representatives of international organizations in Kazakhstan; embassy employees; and children from Nurlu Yürek Special Care Center for Children with Disabilities in Nur-Sultan, the capital of Kazakhstan.

In his speech, Hüseyin Hükmet Özdenoğlu, TİKA’s Coordinator in Nur-Sultan, stated that as TİKA officials, they were happy to meet with children at such an amazing event, which was held by the embassy, and said, “We have wrapped more than 300 gifts. We presented more than 60 gifts to the children who are gathered here today.”
