TİKA Opened the “July 15” Photography Exhibition in Sudan

Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) opened the photography exhibition “July 15-Turkey Cannot Be Trespassed,” featuring the photographs taken by Anadolu Agency (AA), in Khartoum, the capital of the East African country of Sudan.

The photography exhibition held by Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) covered the coup attempt plotted by the Fethullahist Terrorist Organization (FETÖ) on July 15, 2016.

The opening ceremony of the exhibition was attended by İrfan Neziroğlu, Turkey’s Ambassador to Khartoum; Bilal Özden, TİKA’s Khartoum Coordinator; Turkish citizens, and Sudanese people.

In his statement, Bilal Özden, TİKA’s Khartoum Coordinator, stated that the treacherous coup attempt of July 15 was put down thanks to the honorable resistance of the people and the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and said, “We held this photography exhibition to maintain the public awareness about such attempts against our democracy and national will, and to refresh people’s memory. We aim to raise awareness with this exhibition.”

TİKA will also held the exhibition at the International University of Africa, where students from 86 countries around the world study, in Khartoum.
