Speaking during the opening ceremony of the laboratory, which will be serving approximately 700 students, Yurdakul said, “There is a long-established bond of brotherhood between Turkey and Pakistan. In recent years, high profile visits by our country’s officials are an indicator of the strong political relations between our countries.” Yurdakul also remarked that Turkey will continue to support Pakistan, especially on education and culture.

Baitussalam Educational Foundation Director Mufti Waqar thanked TİKA in his speech and said, “For this donation to our institution, which serves children from rural and underdeveloped regions, we thank our brother country Turkey. This laboratory will be a symbol of the friendship between the two countries and it will help us offer a higher quality education here.”

Educational innovation, which is a priority for Pakistan is an issue that TİKA also places an emphasis on. TİKA implements projects to improve the physical conditions of the schools across the country, to distribute educational tools and equipment and to provide vocational training.
