TİKA established “Cezeri-Lab” within the European University of Lefke in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC)

Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) established "Cezeri-Lab” that will enable students, researches and academicians to create 3D designs and productions as well as conduct R&D in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus within European University of Lefke’s Pharmacy and Dentistry Faculties.

Blending the classical production methods with the new techhnology, the laboratory whose equipments were brought from Turkey such as 3D printer and scanners, laser cutting and CNC router devices as well as benchtop lathes and drill presses, computers, digital microscopes, robotics kits and various mechanical and electrical tools has been brought into use of students, researchers and academicians.

12 lecturers from the Departments of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Architecture, Environmental Sciences, Agriculture, Dentistry, Information Systems and Pharmacy were trained by experts assigned by TİKA for 5 days. On the last day of the training, certificates were delivered at the ceremony held with the participation of Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ali Yükselen, rector of the European University of Lefke, to the those who completed their trainings.
