TİKA Continues to Support Tajikistan's IT Sector

In cooperation with Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) and Alif Academy Non-Governmental Organization, the second information technologies training center providing software and coding training for unemployed youth in Tajikistan was opened in Hocend.

The IT Training Center, renovated by TİKA, equipped with modern technologies, and planned to serve young people between the ages of 16-30, will be open seven days a week.

Thanks to the center, 200 computer software developers and programmers will be trained annually to meet the needs of the IT sector, and it is aimed that young people in Tajikistan will get a profession. It is also aimed that especially the young people whose economic situation is not good, will benefit from the center, where the training is provided free of charge.

The IT sector in Tajikistan is just developing and there is a huge human resource gap in the sector. The aim of the project is to contribute to bridge the gap in the IT sector and to employ the young people who have got training in institutions, organizations, and companies.

Continuing its support for Tajikistan in the field of education, TİKA opened the "Software Training Center", where free computer software and coding courses are given, for the unemployed young people of middle and low-income families, in the capital Dushanbe.
