TİKA Continues to Support Pakistan in Its Fight against COVID19

Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) provided parcels of staples to the families of 600 casual workers who were affected by the coronavirus outbreak in the cities of Lahore and Mardan in Pakistan.

As part of the strict measures taken by the Pakistani government against the novel coronavirus, which has turned into a global pandemic in a short time, many convenience stores, cafés, and shops were closed in the provinces of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, affecting casual employees and their families the most.

TİKA provided food parcels to a total of 600 families in the city of Lahore in Punjab province, which was affected the most by the coronavirus, and in the city of Mardan in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. 3000 people are expected to benefit from the project in the coming days.
