TİKA Continues to Provide Assistance to Orphans in Afghanistan

The children's park built by the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) in the courtyard of the annex building of Bibi Sumeyye Orphanage in Herat was opened.

TİKA continues to add new projects to the ones it carries out in various locations. In this regard, TİKA, which has implemented significant projects in a wide array of sectors, has built a children's park in the courtyard of the annex building of Bibi Sumeyye Orphanage in Herat.

During his speech at the opening ceremony of TİKA's project, Head of Herat's Social Affairs Department Abdul Qayum Afghan extended his gratitude to TİKA for their beautiful and meaningful service, and expressed he was pleased that TİKA had opened an office in Herat.

Head of Herat's Social Affairs Department Afghan stated that he is certain TİKA will continue to show compassion towards orphans in Herat and Western Afghanistan. TİKA's Herat Coordinator Ali Ergun Çınar highlighted that TİKA held its first event in Herat in the orphanage and said, "Among the projects we carry out, those intended for the orphans hold a special place." Çınar then remarked that TİKA attaches particular importance to orphans all over the world, not just in Afghanistan.
