TİKA Built a Software Development Training Center in Tajikistan

Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) built a “Software Development Training Center” in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, in cooperation with the Alif Academy Non-Governmental Organization. At the center, software development and coding courses are offered free of charge for the non-professional young members of middle- and low-income families.

Young people between the ages of 16 and 30 will be trained seven days a week at the center, which was maintained, repaired, and equipped by TİKA.

The courses are provided free of charge at the center, which aims to train and provide employment to 200 software developers and programmers each year to meet the needs of the information technologies sector in Tajikistan.

The information technologies sector is newly developing in Tajikistan, and there is a great labor shortage in this field. The project aims to contribute to overcoming the shortage in the information technologies sector and ensure the employment of the trained young people at the institutions, organizations, and companies in the country.
