TİKA Built a Robotics Coding Workshop in a High School in Kazakhstan

Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) built a Robotics Coding Workshop (room) in Talgar Private Boarding High School No. 1 in Almaty.

Robotics Coding Workshop projects, which have grown in importance with the slogan of “do it yourself” across the world, support students and researchers in implementing their projects in line with the needs of the time. In the Republic of Kazakhstan, which has considerable potential considering the average student population and a significant need in this field, the Office of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan provides great support for major initiatives in the field of robotics.

In order to enable Türkiye, which is an exemplary country in the region with its technological knowledge, skills, and competencies in the international arena, to share its experience in this field, TİKA built a Robotics Coding Workshop (room) in Talgar Private Boarding High School No. 1, built by TİKA in Talgar, which is located 40 km from Almaty and heavily populated by Meskhetian Turks, in 2011 upon the instructions of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
