Theranostic Clinic of Avicenna Tajik State Medical University Renovated

Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) continues to implement health projects in Tajikistan. Within this context TİKA renovated Theranostic Clinic of Avicenna Tajik State Medical University.

Avicenna Tajik State Medical University was founded in 1939 with the name Abu Ali Ibn Sino University. The University is the largest university of Medical Sciences in Tajikistan that embodies therapy, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology disciplines.

TİKA modernized clinics and common places of the Theranostic Clinic which serves to 18.000 people throughout the country. Rector of the Medical University Gulzoda Mahmadşoh expressed their gratitude to Turkey and TİKA for their support. Mahmadşoh noted that Tajik people will receive efficient treatment and medical apprentices will benefit from the renovated environment.
