The Will Project Initiated by TİKA in Gaza Revived the Victims Of War

The Will Project initiated by Turkish International Cooperation and Development Agency in Gaza under Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s instructions, continues to revive the war victims of Gaza.

In scope of the Will Project initiated by TIKA, Turkey’s hand in the world, academic and vocational education was given to the citizens injured during Israel’s attacks on Gaza. The aforementioned operation conducted by TIKA graduated new students. Many young people graduated at the ceremony held at the Islamic University of Gaza. The ceremony was attended by TIKA Middle East and Africa Department Head Dr. Enver Arpa, Islamic University of Gaza Rector Dr. Kemal Sas, Islamic University of Gaza faculty members, graduating students and their parents.

Islamic University of Gaza Rector Sas, expressed his best wishes for Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and TIKA İn his speech at the ceremony. Following his speech Rector Sas waved flags of the two countries after the Turkish-Palestinian friendship with TIKA Middle East and Africa Department Head Dr. Enver Arpa. People present at the hall also accompanied by waving Prime Minister Erdoğan’s posters and Turkish flag. At the ceremony graduates wore clothes decorated with Turkish and Palestinian flags and some carried Prime Minister Erdoğan’s posters.

The Will Project which aims to provide vocational training for wounded Gazas

The Will Project which aims to reintegrate wounded Gazas and conducted under the supervision of Islamic University of Gaza continues to produce graduates. The Will Project aims to provide academic and vocational training for people injured during the 23-day Israeli attack on Gaza in 2008-2009. Psychological support and rehabilitation, maintenance of computers and mobile devices, and graphic design are included in the academic program whereas the vocational program includes professions such as carpentry, glass and ceramic crafting, wood painting and bookbinding.
