The “Productive Youth Meeting” Held in the TRNC with the Support of TİKA

Held by Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) in partnership with the Directorate of Youth of the Office of the Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and the Youth Center Union, the 2^nd edition of the “Productive Youth Meeting” started.

167 young people display and sell their products on the stands set up for the event, which is held with the slogan “Crafts Meet Arts, and Young People Meet the Public” at the Youth Center Union, located in Nicosia, the capital of the TRNC. As part of the event, some young people play music or perform on the stage.

The opening ceremony of the event, which will end tomorrow, was attended by Ersin Tatar, President of the TRNC; Ersan Saner, Prime Minister of the TRNC; Kudret Özersay, Leader of the People's Party; members of parliament; Ali Murat Başçeri, Turkey’s Ambassador to Nicosia; Havva Pınar Özcan Küçükçavuş, TİKA’s Nicosia Representative; Hasan Eren, Director of Youth at the Office of the Prime Minister; and many citizens. The first edition of the Productive Youth Meeting was held from July 11 to July 12, 2020.
