05 June 2013The First Training Courses In The Scope Of The Cooperation Between TİKA And The Development Banks Have Started
A memorandum of understanding was signed under the collaboration of the Turkish International Cooperation and Development Agency and the Turkish Development Bank last April. The first training course which was set forth to be realized within this this scope will take place in Addis Ababa at the Ethiopian Development Bank Conference Hall on May 19-24, 2013.
Collaboration has started with the Turkish Development Bank within the scope of the request conveyed to TIKA by the Ethiopian Development Bank, which has undertaken an active role in the “Economic Growth and Transformation Plan” on which the Ethiopian government places great importance. A memorandum of understanding for technical cooperation had been signed in Ankara between TIKA, the Ethiopian Development Bank and the Turkish Development Bank in April. The first training course, which was set forth to be realized within this this scope, was organized in Addis Ababa on May 19-24, 2013.
It is expected that the cooperation realized within the framework of this project, which has been developed with the goal of contributing to the development efforts in the scope of the “Economic Growth and Transformation Plan”, will have a positive effect on the relations between the two countries.
A committee of five people from the Turkish Development Bank and senior level administrators and experts from the Ethiopian Development Bank participated in the course. The subjects of Credit Cycles, Project assessment methods, economical, technical and financial analyses in Project assessment, Report and Criteria were emphasized in the course which lasted five days.
