07 October 2021The 6th Pediatric Adolescent Adult Foregut Interdisciplinary Symposium
The 6th Pediatric Adolescent Adult Foregut Interdisciplinary Symposium was held in Ankara with the support of Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA).
118 scientists, including specialists and nurses in the fields of pediatric surgery, pediatric gastroenterology, pediatric chest diseases, physical therapy, and rehabilitation, from 12 different countries participated in the symposium.
The symposium consisted of 11 sessions, in which 35 scientists delivered 37 speeches.
On the last day, international specialists trained the participants on laparoscopic surgery and endoscopy using a model. In addition, a training course on enteral feeding was organized for 20 nurses. The 7th edition of the symposium, which witnessed a successful knowledge and experience sharing process, will be held in New York.
Scientists from Tunisia, Libya, Palestine, Egypt, Azerbaijan, and Uzbekistan who participated in the symposium, which was held with the support of TÜBİTAK, European Pediatric Surgeons' Association (EUPSA), and TİKA, expressed their gratitude for this highly productive scientific program.
