TİKA’s Baghdad Coordinator, Mustafa Yazıcı delivered a speech at the ceremony and said that as TİKA, they are very happy to have contributed to the educational infrastructure of Katrunneda Nursery School, one of the biggest nursery schools in the region.

About Katrunneda Nursery School

Katrunneda Nursery School was opened in 2011, in Sadr City, where two and a half million habitants live, in Bagdad. It is one of the few state nursery schools in the region, and because of the limited government subsidy, it has carried out educational activities to a limited extent.

This project, which is the continuation of the educational support projects run by TİKA in the country, has helped to improve the physical infrastructure of the Katrunneda Nursery School serving for more than 450 students and contributed to the strengthening of the educational infrastructure in Iraq.
