Support from TİKA to the International Human Rights Law Presentation Competition

Judges and prosecutor candidates from 9 countries competed in “International Rights Law” competition within the “International Training Program on Current Issues in International Rights Law” organized in Antalya with the cooperation of Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) and Turkish Justice Academy within the scope of Legal Services Training Program.  

In the international training program held between May 23^rd and 26^th, 2022 with the cooperation of TİKA and Turkish Justice Academy, presentation competitions were organized in the following fields: Basic Concepts in Human Rights Law, Specific Issues regarding European Convention on Human Rights and Decisions of European Court of Human Rights.

Judges and prosecutor candidates from 9 countries in the competition

Judge and prosecutor candidates from the following institutions participated in the competition: Turkish Justice Academy, Public Institutions Centre for Judge and Prosecutor Training from Bosnia-Herzegovina, Judge and Prosecutor Training from Republika Srpska of Bosnia-Herzegovina, National Justice Institute of Bulgaria, Kosovan Justice Academy, Academy of North Macedonian Judges and Prosecutors, Albanian, National Judges Institute of Romania, Albanian Justice Academy and Montenegro Justice Academy.

Academy of North Macedonian Judges and Prosecutors ranked the first in the competition

The judge and prosecutor candidates gave a 30-minute presentation on the Decisions of the European Court of Human Rights.

Academy of North Macedonian Judges and Prosecutors ranked the first, Turkish Justice Academy ranked the second, and National Judges Institute of Romania ranked the third in the competition.
