Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) provided robotics equipment to support the digital literacy education of children lacking sufficient financial resources in Argentina.

At the ceremony held in the city of Maipú in Mendoza Province, Argentina, a video message by Şefik Vural Altay, Turkey’s Ambassador to Buenos Aires, was shared. Altay stated that he could not attend the ceremony due to the outbreak of novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and that he was pleased with the support provided for the KinderByte Project, launched by Maipú Municipality. Noting that TİKA provides assistance in various fields all over the world, Altay said, “I hope this equipment will contribute to the valuable efforts of Maipú Municipality and offer an enjoyable experience for local children.”

TİKA provided 30 MakeBlock mBot training robot kits, 30 Unit UT 33B+ digital multimeters with buzzer, 30 breadboards with 830 tie-points, and 30 40-piece Breadboard Dupont Arduino jumper cable sets.
