Food Aid To 3 Separate Regions Of Pakistan

Food Aid To 3 Separate Regions Of Pakistan

The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency Directorate distributed packages containing basic good and other vital needs to 1,200 families located in 6 different cities of Pakistan.
TİKA continues to provide its help and support to the people of brother country Pakistan. In this context the organization continues to lend a helping hand to people living in some parts of Pakistan who are having difficulties in obtaining nutrition and food due to economic problems.

Due to there being a large number of people in need in many parts of Pakistan and access to these groups being insufficient in many situations, TİKA cooperated with the local authorities and some nongovernmental organizations to determine which areas would be receiving the aid.

With the support of local authorities and nongovernmental organizations in the regions and cities where the aid was to be distributed, TİKA provided food aid to Faisalabad, Okara, Rawalpindi, Kashmir and Swabi in the Hayberpakhtunwa, Pencap and Kashmir regions of Pakistan. In these regions 200 families in Okara, 200 in Khala-Azad Kashmir, 200 in Faisalabad, 100 in Rawalpindi and 500 in Swabi were given aid for a total of 1,200 families in need.
