Education and Training Activities Began at the First Turkmen Kindergarten in Kifri, Built by TİKA

Education and training activities began at Goncagül Kindergarten, which was built and equipped by TİKA in the district of Kifri in Sulaymaniyah Province, Iraq.

A modern kindergarten was built for Turkmen children in Kifri as part of the “Educational Support Project for the Construction of Goncagül Kindergarten in Kifri,” implemented by Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA).

Built on a land of 100 sq. meters with 2 kindergarten classrooms, a meeting room, a kitchen, and restrooms, Goncagül Kindergarten in Kifri was also equipped by TİKA and prepared for education and training activities.

The project design and implementation process of Goncagül Kindergarten, which was put into service in Kifri in November in the 2021-2022 school year, was carried out in cooperation with the Kifri Branch of the Iraqi Turkmen Front.

A total of 100 students will study at Goncagül Kindergarten in Kifri, which will serve as the first kindergarten for Turkmens in the region.
