Barbershops Were Opened in 5 Different Rural Settlements in Jordan

Barbershops were established in rural areas of Jordan with the support of Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA).

Within the scope of the activities carried out in cooperation with TİKA and Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization, trainees who received vocational training in the field of barbering in Jordan were employed in barbershops established for the first time in 5 different villages and towns in which approximately 20 thousand people live.

Skin and dermatological diseases were also common among the people living in these areas where incorrect shaving methods were used.

With this service provided to settlements where the nearest barbershop is 25 km away, Jordanian young people were provided with a profession and supported to meet basic social needs.
