Additional Building Built for State Hospital in Herat Afghanistan

The additional building constructed at the Afghanistan Herat Gozara Public Hospital to increase the capacity and enhance the quality of health services has been put into service by Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA).

The building, which was erected due to the high number of daily patients and which aims to ensure the proper registration of applications while enabling patients to wait in line under appropriate and hygienic conditions, was opened with a ceremony.

Öztürk, Head of TİKA’s Central Asia and Caucasus Department, spoke at the ceremony and stated that TİKA had completed several successful health-related projects in Afghanistan over several years; he expressed that he wished for the Gozara Public Hospital's Additional Building to be for the benefit of the citizens of Gozara and remarked that projects relating to health services would be continued.
