10 Fully Equipped Motorcycles Were Given To The Palestine Police

The 10 fully equipped motorcycles provided by the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency Directorate, an organization that has realized a great number of projects in Palestine within the scope of restructuring in a number of different administrative, civil and social areas, were presented to the Palestine Security Organization in a ceremony organized for the occasion in Ramallah.

Through cooperation between TİKA and the Security General Directorate, over one thousand police have been trained within the scope of the International Police Training Cooperation Project to date covering over 100 different subjects in order to enable the Palestine Security Organization to respond to regional security issues in a coordinated and motivated approach.

During the training of Palestinian police under the heading of “Training for Motorized Police Forces”, the issue of requesting motorcycles to form a motorized security and escort force within the capacity of the General Directorate in order to provide faster service was brought up in the agenda. Within the scope of this project 10 motorcycles with features that are not even available in the Israeli forces were supplied from Turkey and transported to Palestine where they were presented to the Palestinian Police in a ceremony organized in Ramallah.

The ceremony was attended by Turkey’s Ambassador Assistant to Jerusalem C.Elvan Hacıefendioğlu, TİKA Middle East and Africa Department Chairman Enver Arpa and guests, Palestine Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Muhammed Mansur, Palestine Security Organization administrators and personnel. Palestine Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Muhammed Mansur, who made a speech in the ceremony, expressed gratitude for the development support given to Palestine by Turkey. Palestine Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Mansur emphasized the brotherhood between the people of Palestine and Turkey and said that the support provided was greatly appreciated.
