Another Healthcare Service in Romania by TİKA

Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) provided the required medical equipment and an anesthesia device to the Orthopedic Surgery department in Bucharest St. Pantelimon Emergency Clinic Hospital.

TİKA completed yet another healthcare project in Romania. In order to enable the patients to access to better services at more modern conditions, TİKA supplied the required medical equipment and an anesthesia device to the Orthopedic Surgery department in Bucharest St. Pantelimon Emergency Clinic Hospital. Thanks to the new devices, all treatments that require surgical interventions, especially in the cases of patients with severe conditions, will be carried out much more easily.

Established in 1972, St. Pantelimon Emergency Clinic Hospital serves to the people of Bucharest and the surrounding areas as an emergency hospital with 12 clinics and approximately 520 beds.  The project implemented by TİKA helped with the capacity improvement and modernization at the hospital within the scope of the “Alignment Program” of the Ministry of Health.

TİKA continues its projects and programs at an increased pace to improve the health system and to increase the institutional capacity in Romania. It facilitates the access to equal, modern and high-quality health services for Romanian citizens irrespective of their ethnicity.
